About Us and Disclosure
Last updated: October 6, 2026
microneedlingreview.com is an independent review and education site about microneedling devices: pens, rollers, stamps and RF systems. We score devices on a published rubric, check regulatory claims against FDA and other regulator records, and track recalls, regulatory actions and legal cases across the whole market.
Why this site exists
Most of what you’ll find about microneedling devices online comes from someone selling them. That includes retailers, brand-owned “review” sites, and affiliate roundups that don’t check regulatory claims. One 2026 roundup we found lists the Dermapen 4, the Dr. Pen A20 and the Collagen P.I.N. as not FDA-cleared, but the FDA’s own records show all three are. Buyers deserve one place where the claims are checked.
Our independence
- We have no financial relationship with any microneedling manufacturer, retailer or clinic. We don’t own, invest in, develop, or receive payment from any device or brand we cover.
- Nobody pays for a score. Manufacturers and sellers can’t buy a review, a rating, a placement or the removal of accurate information.
- We don’t accept free products in exchange for coverage. Where we test a device ourselves, we buy it at retail and the review says so.
If any of this changes, for example if we take on advertising, affiliate links or any connection to a microneedling product, we’ll update this page and add a disclosure to every affected review before the change takes effect. That’s what the FTC’s rules on endorsements and reviews require, and it’s also what readers are owed.
How the site is funded
[DECISION — owners: choose one before publishing.]
– Option A: “The site currently earns no money. Its running costs are paid by its owners.”
– Option B: “We earn a commission when you buy through some links on this site. Links that earn us money are marked, the commission never affects a score, and reviews are written before any affiliate relationship is checked.”
Who we are
microneedlingreview.com was set up by Patricia Fox, a mum with a passion for microneedling. [OWNER: Patricia to add two or three sentences in her own words — how she got into microneedling, what she uses, and why she started the site. Only details that are true and that she is happy to publish.]
Pages that give medical or safety guidance are reviewed by a licensed professional, credited by name and credentials on each page. Until a reviewer has signed a page off, it carries a notice saying so and cites the clinical literature it relies on.
